CARR PREPARATORY ACADEMY
Each Endeavoring. All Achieving.
Carr Preparatory Academy graduated its first high schoolers in 2021. We are proud of the accomplishments our Alumni have made and wish to share this with you here.
Veronica is our first graduate, achieving her high school diploma under the Arts program. She is currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and also returns to our school to teach art to the students in a special after school art program. Veronica is also a second year Japanese language student and plans to go to Japan some time during her college years to study art and animation.
Carr Preparatory Academy educates students in grades 9-12 under certain circumstances. Students enrolled in 9th - 12th grades are usually students who are already enrolled at our school. We do however consider some new applicants, a few per year. Our students are take courses geared towards a specific track within the STEAM program. Our students also have the opportunity to participate in the Career and College Promise program at Sandhills Community College during their 11th and 12th grade years. Our students will graduate high school with an Associates Degree.
Jaden is our next graduate. She currently attends Sandhills Community College and will graduate with an Associates Degree in Science. Jaden's goal is to attend Harvard University.
Karissa is currently in our Culinary Arts program. She is also on the entrepreneur track. Students on this track must complete a business plan to satisfy their graduation requirements. The expectation is that the student will be able to enter the business world upon graduation.
